  • Fishway with stones in Nishiyama river

In the fishway, the stones with about 20 cm height and 30 cm diameter have been consisted as roughness blocks in order to prevent catchments of small fishes due to big fishes and birds. The slope of the fishway is acceptable up to 20 % slope. In addition, the fishway was constructed in accordance with the research project of Nihon University, College of Science and Technology.
