Fishway with small steps in trapezoidal section

  • Fishway with small steps in trapezoidal section

Description
The fishway has a slope of V 1 : H 3 (33% slope) for stream wise direction and has small steps in a trapezoidal section with a side slope of V 1 : H 1. In this case, the fishway is affective for the migration of crustaceans (crabs and shrimps) and benthic fishes. The fishway has been called Fishway with Eco-step. In addition, the fishway was constructed in accordance with the research project of Nihon University, College of Science and Technology.
