  • Stepped flow with 2.8 m drop, 40 cm step height, and 80 cm wide

Description
The stepped channel was settled at Environmental Hydraulic Laboratory of Nihon University (College of Science and Technology). By using the stepped channel, flow characteristics of stepped channel flows have been clarified, and the results were published in the Journal of Hydraulic Engineering, ASCE (Ohtsu et al., Vol. 130, No. 9, September 2004).
