Example of Stepped Chute


Description
It is a denominated channel "Tijuco Preto", situated in the city of São Carlos. Its bottom is constituted by steps with h << L, where h = height of steps and L = horizontal length of steps. The flow occurs in "nappe flow regime", being possible to observe the air entrainment in the impact bearing proximities.
