Description
Tidal bore (mascaret, pororoca) on the Couesnon river (France). The tidal bore is significantly weaker since the construction of an upstream barrage. Couesnon river at low tide on 4 Feb. 2004 before the mascaret, looking upstream from Mont Saint Michel monastery.
