Shore protection of Marina di Pisa, Italy - 3D physical model


Description
The aim of the Contract between the Autorità di Bacino del Fiume Arno, Italy, and the Technical University of Bari (Laboratorio di Ricerca e Sperimentazione per la Difesa delle Coste), Italy, was the execution of a 3D physical model for the shore protection of Marina di Pisa, Italy. The physical model was constructed with an erodible bottom until the isobath -0.27 m. The Dean similitude was used.
