Eprapah creek upper estuary

Eprapah creek upper estuary

Description

Eprapah Creek Upper Estuary on 28 August 2006 around 7:50am during flood tide. Eprapah Creek is a small creek flowing directly into Moreton Bay off the Pacific Ocean near Brisbane in Eastern Australia. Looking downstream, the sampling Site 3 is located at 3.1 km upstream of the river mouth and less than 0.4 km from the upper extent of the estuary. This small subtropical estuary is usually tominated by tidal forcing. But a short rainstorm took place on that day around 5:30am, and there was a strong freshwater flushing on that day.
