The fishway has a rest shallow pool with a trapezoidal cross section of 1 : 1 side slope and the downstream face of sill block for each pool formation is sloping as 1 : 1. Also, the stream wise slope of the fishway is V 1 : H 7 (15% slope). From this, multi-aquatic animals can migrate through the fishway. Further, for floods, the soil and rock materials can not be deposited in the rest pool of the fishway. In addition, the fishway was constructed in accordance with the research project of Nihon University, College of Science and Technology.
