MULTIMEDIA LIBRARY - APPLIED HYDRAULICS

AD 1873 - Lower Stony Creek dam (Geelong VIC, Australia 1873). Designed by George GORDON and built under the supervision of Edward DOBSON, the curved gravity structure is Australia's first mass concrete dam. It is still in use today.
